And finally, we're ready to learn about the fundamental role that
this software performs: Prompting.
The term prompting refers to the process of scrolling
a script for a presenter to read. With Listec Pro, this
generally consists of two things: first, putting the program into prompt mode, and then using a control device to start, stop, or control the speed of scrolling, and other commands.
The following sections give an introduction to prompting:
Changing Modes
This section explains the difference between editing and prompting modes, and how to switch between them.
Controlling the Prompter
This section introduces the functions of the Serial Control, which controls the prompter's scrolling.
